A popular variation of the Submariner diver’s watch is the Rolex 16610 that is presented here today. Similar to the original model from the early 1950s, the ref. 16610 features a very desirable stainless steel finish, a dial topped with a luminous display, and a timing bezel. The bezel, however, is now unidirectional and the case has increased in size to 40mm. The case also offers an increased depth rating of up to 300 meters/1,000 feet and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal over the dial for even greater resistance while diving.
